Yalda is about light overcoming darkness. In the ancient Iranian calendar, after this darkest night, days begin to grow longer. Symbolically, it represents hope, renewal, warmth, and togetherness. Families and friends gather—often at the home of the oldest member of the family—to stay awake late into the night. We are gathering to become a family.
All are invited to celebrate with us.
