Introduction

Hi there! If you haven’t met me already, this is your new international officer, Anini. Thank you for doing your part in voting me, I hope to do my part diligently hereon!

Goals

What were you hoping to do/achieve this month?

I intended on having the first international social and an active participation from the community in observance of international students’ day. Getting started on my tenure; I was also hoping to get word across to the community that I’m all ears for any issue they’re facing.

What have I done this month?

What have you done this month e.g. events, networking, etc?

I have worked with SU engagement to successfully pull of the international social having a decent turnout. I also went around and asked students to actively participate in recommending things as small as song suggestions for international night, the video for which you can find on the SU page. After a successful observance of international students’ day, I have also gathered feedback on the delayed release of exam dates from the community and forwarded it to the SU leaders, along with their concern of students staying back for Christmas, which the SU is going to host socials for alongside making campus more accessible during the break.
