Every Thursday @ 6pm, normally in CTC.1.05 (updated on the whatsapp group)

Aims:

- Bring together students at the University of Essex who share a passion for the game of chess from all levels of skill

- Build a competitive environment

Objectives:

- Weekly gatherings where students can compete against each other in a friendly manner, hang out or otherwise meet like-minded individuals

Chess society by-elections 2025

These are the annual elections to decide who will lead your society/club into the next academic year. Please note that all who are elected will assume their roles as of 1st August, unless agreed upon by both the newly elected exec member and the current exec member that they will handover sooner.
