WELCOME TO ARCHERY

Essex Blades Archery Club welcomes people of all abilities - from experienced archers to novices who have never touched a bow before.

Archery provides a great chance to experience a unique, alternative sport with a competitive and social environment, that is both welcoming and engaging. As one of the fastest-growing sports in the UK, it has seen a surge in popularity in recent years.

GET STARTED

To be a part of the club, you need to join up as a member. The different club membership options are listed below with a description of what each membership covers. By purchasing a membership you are agreeing to the club's code of conduct.

Closed-toe footwear is mandatory, lanyards and large piercings must be removed, and long sleeves are suggested but not mandatory. We provide all the specialist equipment you may need, so you don't need to purchase anything before you join!

WHAT TEAMS DO WE HAVE 

Experienced Team: For experienced members who've either done archery before or trained at the club for more than a year

Novice Team: For new members who are in their first year of doing archery AND want to push themselves to the next level

Note: Spaces on the teams are limited and members are chosen at the discretion of the team captain or president.

Please contact the group committee if you have any queries about which membership is right for you.

Please note that your membership information will be used in conjunction with Essex Sport (University of Essex) purely for the purpose of providing access to required facilities and data analysis. Your data will not be shared with anyone else or used for marketing purposes. Memberships are manually uploaded to the Essex Sport system so it may take up to 5 working days before you can book onto your sessions via the Essex Sport app.
