WELCOME TO BASEBALL & SOFTBALL

Welcome to the Essex Blades Baseball Club! We are a proud competitor in the BUCS South East Division, renowned for our strong BUCS performance and competitive Essex spirit. We attract members from all skill levels, and we are committed to creating an inclusive environment where each player can thrive. We are dedicated to guiding and supporting all players throughout the year.

Each year, we participate in huge fixtures including the two-day National Baseball Finals in Term 2, and Derby Day, the biggest sports event at the University of Essex against our rivals, UEA. Our club goals include maintaining our position in the leagues top 10 teams and making a progress towards winning the National Championship.

We lend complementary kit to members, including jerseys, helmets, bats and gloves. If you are highly committed to Baseball, we strongly recommend buying your kit- or if you already have your own kit or equipment, you are more than welcome to use it!
