The Hellenic Society is a new space where students can connect through culture, community, and shared experiences. Whether you’re Greek, Cypriot, or simply interested in learning more about Greek traditions, we’re here to bring people together and offer support throughout university life!

About Us

We’re a student-run society that shares a love for all things Greek—language, music, food, history, and traditions. Our members come from all sorts of backgrounds, but what connects us is wanting to create a friendly, welcoming space where everyone feels at home. We’re here for each other—whether that’s for a bit of academic help, social support, or just good company. Whether you want to celebrate your heritage, meet people with similar interests, or try something totally new, you’ll find your spot here.

Hellenic Society | SU Communities Election 26-27

These are your annual general elections, where members choose the students who will lead your society or sports club in the key roles of President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Welfare Officer for the next academic year. Anyone elected will officially take up their role from 1st August 2026. However, if both the incoming and outgoing committee's agree, a handover can take place earlier to support a smooth transition.
