Physiotherapy

Welcome to the Physiotherapy Society where all students interested in physiotherapy are encouraged to join, connect, and explore their passion for knowledge, health, and wellness!

Physiotherapy Society

This society aims to ensure physiotherapy students at the University of Essex have access to a variety of opportunities outside of our usual lectures. We hope to enhance the student experience by offering continuing professional development (CPD), mental health support, fun activities for de-stressing, and networking through the facilitation of events with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. We ultimately want students to get the most out of their physiotherapy experience at the University of Essex.

Why Join?

As a member, you will receive opportunities to:

  • Engage with other physiotherapy students and learn about their experiences, placements, and more.
  • Network with students from other Universities.
  • Gain access to different lectures and guest speaking events.
  • Take part in society socials and wellness events.
  • Brush up on different skills such as manual handling (based on member requests)
  • Have a say in what YOU want out of your degree!
