Did you think Ukraine was so simple? Ukraine is great! Ukraine is exclusive.

Our community was founded quite recently, but we have already made a name for ourselves on campus – earning the title of Best New Society of 2024. And we are just getting started!

We are a team of like-minded individuals united by a shared history and culture. However, our gatherings are not only revolving around cultural discussions over a cup of tea (for Ukrainians, it would at least involve a shot of horilka). We love board games, traveling together, and hitting the bars. Every interaction leaves us with great memories and tons of laughter.

In addition to our social events, we actively engage in university life, sharing our culture with others. Our highlights so far include participating in a podcast for the university’s 60th anniversary, screening the film "20 Days in Mariupol," and hosting several charity bake sales featuring our signature cakes.

Ukrainian Society | SU Communities Election 26-27

These are your annual general elections, where members choose the students who will lead your society or sports club in the key roles of President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Welfare Officer for the next academic year. Anyone elected will officially take up their role from 1st August 2026. However, if both the incoming and outgoing committee's agree, a handover can take place earlier to support a smooth transition.
