Who We Are?

We are a fresh new society dedicated to exploring the unconventional areas of theatre, art and performance.

What can Creative Performance offer you?

• A chance to be a part of building one of the newest societies on campus – and because we're new it means there’s more space for you to leave your mark.
• We welcome members from every level and course. Whether you’re new to the arts or a seasoned pro. We'll even try to help with your degree courses where we can.
• An amazing platform within the University and Colchester to show your own work and to be a part of others. Whether that’s a play, an art exhibition, spoken word, a musical performance or pretty much anything else you can come up with.
• Frequent meetings and workshops to explore your craft and engage with the arts whilst learning about new areas that you hadn’t thought to explore.
• We plan to explore different styles of performance and give everyone a chance to get involved in collaborative performances!
• Socials and trips; fun events throughout the year where you can bond with other members and make some amazing memories that will last.
• Collaborations with other societies so that you can bond with new people and learn new skills to take into your art.
• We are a democracy - it's up to you who runs the society and who represents your voice.
