Welcome to the University of Essex Labour Students: a society for students who are members or supporters of the Labour Party. It doesn’t matter if you've been a member of the party all your life or if you've only just developed an interest in politics and are curious about Labour and our values, we're open to everyone.

We hold regular socials, have guest speakers and go out campaigning. Essex Labour Students is a great place to get involved with local and national politics, as well as meet like-minded people, and help create a country that benefits the many.

We have close links with the Colchester Labour Party. If you would like to be part of the Colchester Labour Party make sure you update your address on the Labour website.

The Society welcomes all students and staff at the advertised membership below. Non-students and students at other institutions should contact the Sports and Societies Office (sportsandsocs@essex.ac.uk) for details on how to join.

Alternatively, you can sign up as a member of this club by enquiring at the Students' Union Reception by providing your PRID number on your student card.
