Wellbeing Ambassadors

WHAT WE DO

Hi, everyone!

We are the Wellbeing Ambassadors, a regular VTeam project focused on empowering mental wellbeing for our fellow Essex students by offering low-commitment sessions that are open to everyone. The sessions can vary from hands-on, craft style sessions such as stress ball making, jewellery making, and making different types of ornaments out of clay, to joining us every Monday 12pm-2pm in the Silberrad Student Centre for our weekly Dog Therapy Sessions.

Join us at any of the sessions that strike your interest, we will be there to welcome you with open arms! They are really light touch, you can stop by for just 10 minutes or choose to stay for the whole time.

If you're looking to join our sessions, all you have to do is show up and take part! No need to register for the sessions in advance unless you're looking to help us with the session as a volunteer.

We organise weekly Dog Therapy sessions which take place every Monday 12pm-2pm in the Silberrad Student Centre. You can find us on the main floor where reception is.

We also offer other one-off sessions throughout term time, which you can discover on the What’s On page.
