At the University of Essex Health Centre

Essex Sexual Health Services provide a free and confidential service every Wednesday 17.00 – 19.00 (during term time) at the University of Essex Health Centre. This is an appointment based service - please call 0300 003 1212 to book an appointment. These clinics are provided exclusively for students and a range of services is provided:

Emergency Contraceptive pills are also available free of charge via prescription/the NHS. The Urgent Treatment Centre at Colchester General Hospital (Turner Road) can provide treatment if the campus Health Centre is closed. If you are not a registered patient with the Health Centre, you should contact your GP surgery.
(Note: Pharmacies can supply this, but they may charge £25.00 - £35.00)
