hello, we are the essex blades BADMINTON club


Badminton is a racket sport where games can either be a singles match (in which one person plays another) or a doubles match where pairs play each other. The match is played on a court over a high net with a shuttlecock. The goal is to be the first to reach 21 points, you then play best of three games to determine the winner.

Do I need anything else before I get involved?

A racket is required at all training sessions and matches.
