Hello everybody, I’m Miya and I’m the disabled and neurodivergent student Community Officer. This isn’t just a title for me – it’s giving you all a platform for your voices to be heard. A university that includes everyone is a university that empowers everyone; I want to work alongside you to advocate for a truly accessible campus, ensuring physical accessibility of those with mobility needs and flexible, understanding environments for our neurodivergent community. Let’s work towards a campus where each student feels seen, respected and valued, where support comes without judgment.
