Over a century after his death, Lenin’s revolutionary writing continues to energise the proletariat across the world. It was him who explicitly called for an international revolution, and laid out extensively the means to do this. Before and after he was leading the Bolsheviks revolution, Lenin studied and wrote extensively on Marxist and revolutionary theory, drawing upon, not only Marx and Engels, but theorists such as Plekhanov and Kautsky. The Essex Philosophy Society is pleased to invite you to a talk by Barnaby Raine introducing Lenin’s work and what we can learn from it in our modern world.
