FENCING

hello, we are the essex blades fencing club

A fun, high intensity sport and one of the first to be introduced into the Olympics in which competitors try to score hits on their opponents using swords. A sport encouraging not only physical but also mental development in a close social environment. We have people of all abilities and levels of experience so you will always find someone to learn from as well as people to practise with. We regularly run competitions within training as well as having many teams of various skill levels to represent the university in BUCS competitions.
