hello, we are the essex blades jiu jitsu club
Our club is here to teach basic self-defence by giving you the opportunity to learn the traditional Japanese samurai martial arts of Jiu-Jitsu, giving you the ablity to meet others interested in this amazing fighting style and train to defend yourself. We will also be holding socials after training sessions and discuss what we have done and what more we can do.
How many teams do we have?
Jiu Jitsu is an individual sport but members have the opportunity to compete throughout the year.
Do I need anything else before I get involved?
We would recommend getting a Gi (martial arts uniform) but we can also sell you a set as we have some available.
To be a part of the club, you need to join up as a member. All of the different club membership options are listed below with a description of what each membership covers.
