hello, we are the essex blades kickboxing club
Kickboxing is a dynamic combat sport that combines the finesse of Western boxing with the intricacies of Asian martial arts. In addition to powerful punches, it incorporates a diverse range of kicking techniques and the use of knee strikes. Club training includes learning the foundations of kickboxing, more intermidate techniques, physical conditioning and the opportunity for sparring (optional yet encouraged). Our style of training blends different aspects of martial arts such as K1 kickboxing, dutch style kickboxing, Muay Thai, Karate and Taekwondo to provide you with effective, powerful (and sometimes flashy) fighting moves.
We strongly encourage anyone interested in learning kickboxing or who is looking to pick up a new sport to join since we offer training that allows newcomers to gain fighting experience quickly. No matter your experience, whether a first-timer, seasoned competitor, or just looking for a fun and unique way to stay in shape, the Essex University Kickboxing Club has a place just for you!
