Last council blog update.

Here’s a fun exercise. If you have read this blog, you agree to walking up to Alex and whispering the word “orangutang” into his ear. He will be very upset if you don’t follow through on this extremely official instruction.

We are now heading into our next and final Council meeting this Tuesday.

The last couple of weeks have been very busy on the awards front. I presented the Most Active Society Award at the Societies Awards on Tuesday, and then the RAG Award at the Sports Awards on Wednesday. On Thursday, I travelled to Loughton for the East 15 Rep Awards, which was a great opportunity to see student representation in action outside of main campus.

The following week, I hosted the VTeam, Education, and Council Rep Awards alongside Chloe, our VP Education, on Tuesday. I will also be attending the Staff Awards on Thursday to wrap up the awards period.

It has been a lot of events back to back, but genuinely really rewarding to see and celebrate the work students and staff have been doing across the year.
