Everyone has their own unique experiences at University but mine was also special because of VTeam.

When I first started volunteering it was because I wanted to fill my free time with something that could benefit my CV. I remember being hesitant and nervous about my very first volunteering session because I used to be shy and introverted. Then, I met all those wonderful people who were driven with purpose and passion, people who were dedicated to their special projects and genuinely wanted to help and make changes.
As I logged in more hours, I grew as a person; I gained confidence and started believing in my power as an individual but also learned what community was. I became sociable and came out of my comfort zone, because I did things that I didn’t know I could.

Finally, and most importantly, I made lots of cool friends. Some of them are now my best friends who I can’t live without! As for my future, I am continuing my studies in another country, but just know this: even if there isn’t a volunteering team where I go, I will create one!
