WHAT IS BOXING?

Boxing is a combat sport in which two people, usually wearing protective gloves, throw punches at each other for a predetermined set of time in a boxing ring. Fights can be decided in numerous ways, including by knocking out your opponent.

HOW MANY TEAMS DO WE HAVE?

Boxing is an individual sport and therefore we do not have teams, however there are opportunities to represents the Blades during the year in BUCS Nationals and other competitions.

To get involved, all you need is a gumshield, comfortable sports kit and trainers.

These are your October By-Elections, where members elect the students who will lead and support your society or sports club in both core and non-core committee roles. Any vacant committee position can be filled through this election.
