Who are we?

Hi! We're Red Essex, an active left-wing society with many exciting events coming up! We welcome anyone who cares about equality and wants to make a real difference; whether you're a Socialist, Communist, Leftist, or not entirely sure! All you need is a desire for a brighter future.  You don't need an extensive knowledge, just empathy for others and a desire to act. 

Our current projects:

-    Supporting the Palestinian liberation movement on campus through fundraising, protests, and campaigns. 
-    Promoting leftist ideas, education and discussion. 
-    Providing a safe space for members to discuss ideas on campus. 
-    Coordinating left wing political activity. 
-    Helping the local community through volunteering. 
-    Supporting various liberation causes around the world such as Ukraine, Sudan, Congo, and more.
