First Term Workshops:
(some subject to change or run in second term)
Here we aim to teach you everything you need to know in order to make your own costumes! Our focus is in teaching a wide set of craftmanship skills in order to bring your favourite characters to life though a set of workshops run by our President in first term!
In second term we will use what we have learnt to create our own cosplays which will be taken to MCM Comic Con in May. We will also have a professional photoshoot in summer to get the most out of our outfits before thowing them into our wardrobe until the next con.
It doesn't matter if you're an experianced cosplayer or want to try our cosplay for the first time everyone is welcome as the workshops are designed to suit beginners so please feel welcome to come for a taster class at the start of term! (We will be going to October Comic Con so feel free to email our president if you would like to come with us and find out more about the wonderful world of cosplay!)
While our society is a little more pricey than most, we're part of an expeencive hobby so I hope you find our funds within reason! Signing up to our society gives you free workshops and a year of access to all our equipment needed to craft with foam and worbla.
Even if you are an experienced cosplayer who knows how to craft you may not find yourself in a position to make what you'd like while being a student witth limited resorces so our facilities are designed to help you be able to continue building your fantasies!
Here's a peak at what our President has done over the years: (and what you could make too!)
