WHAT IS AMERICAN FOOTBALL?

2 teams of up to 50 players wearing helmets and shoulder pads attempt to move the ball down field to score a touchdown or a field goal.

Each team has 11 players on the field at any time, with different line ups for offensive and defensive plays.

There are unlimited substitutions throughout the game, which is made up of 4 x 15 minute quarters. The team scoring the most points wins.

GET STARTED

To be a part of the club, you need to join up as a member. The different club membership options are listed on the tab above with a description of what each membership covers. By purchasing a membership you are agreeing to the club's code of conduct.

To get involved, all you need is some boots and a gumshield, the club can provide all the other equipment necessary. No previous expierence is needed and all players of all sizes are welcome.

We have one mixed 1st team (BUCS South East 1A).

Your data will not be shared with anyone else or used for marketing purposes. Memberships are manually uploaded to the Essex Sport system so it may take up to 5 working days before you can book onto your sessions via the Essex Sport app.
