Got opinions on what campus life should look like? We want them.
We’re looking for students to join a volunteer group helping shape the events and social experiences your SU puts on.
Whether you’re an introvert or extrovert, undergrad or postgrad, first year or final year, always out or more of a stay-at-home type - we want a proper mix of students around the table.
You don’t need any experience, and you definitely don’t need to be the loudest person in the room. We just want to know what you think.
Around once a term, we’ll get together over free pizza and drinks to chat about what we’re doing, what’s missing and what you’d love to see happen next. Your feedback will directly help us make decisions about events and experiences on campus, and if one of your ideas becomes a reality, we’ll make sure you get the credit.
Plus, the time you spend with us will be added to your volunteering record, so you’ll have something to show for the difference you’ve made.

‘Social Consultant’ is what we’re calling the individuals who will make up the task force of students we’re assembling to help shape the student experience on campus. It’ll look pretty good on your CV!
Yes! We want to hear the thoughts & opinions of anyone and everyone who would like their student experience on campus to look & feel different, suit them better, and represent their interests, whatever their taste in events.
All you need to do is sign up here and we’ll invite you to a weekday evening in the term where we’ll hang out and chat about SU events and social opportunities. In exchange for your time and feedback, we’ll treat you to pizza & drinks on us! We’ll also make sure you get recognised for your amazing ideas and the time you spend with us will count towards your volunteering hours.
