Athletics is a sport of many disciplines, with both indoor and outdoor competitions. It is composed of 3 main event categories; running, jumping and throwing. Competitions can take place individually or as part of a team, where all individual results can contribute to the team score.

How many teams do we have?

We have 2 teams, a Track and Field team and a Cross-Country Team, however many of the cross country runners will also compete for the track and field team.

We attend 3 BUCS National competitions a year; Indoors, Outdoors and Cross Country. These are the most prestigious competitions for University level Athletics. We also partake in a London Universities and Colleges Athletics series which consists of an Indoor Championships, a 3 part Outdoor Series and a 5 part Cross Country League.
