LGBTQ+ Students' Hub
Welcome to the LGBTQ+ Students’ Hub!
This is the centre for all your Network’s events, methods of contact, and Student Community Officer reports so you can hold your representatives accountable and stay updated on their work. We’re here for whatever, whenever!
P.S – we’re here as your safe space. This means that, this year, there will be no official photography at our events; any photos taken will be by your Officers, and with explicit permission. This is to ensure the comfort and confidentiality of our community members.
HELLO FROM YOUR STUDENT OFFICERs
LGBQ+ STUDENTS OFFICER
Hey everyone, I’m Riley, your LGBQ+ Officer. I’m a second year Philosophy student, mediocre singer and, most importantly, your point of contact for any concerns or support you need throughout this academic period. Whether it be mental health concerns, wanting to be more involved with your community, or a motion you want me to push at Student Parliament, I am there, as is my good friend and your Trans Officer, Sam! I look forward to meeting and getting to know all of you this year!

TRANS STUDENTS OFFICER
Hi, I’m Sam and I’m your Trans Officer! Throughout the year, I will be putting on events for the trans community, so you can all get to know each other and have fun. I also represent you in a more official capacity, and I’m always available if anyone needs a chat, whether it’s about a specific issue or just to see how you’re getting on. Me and your LGBQ+ Officer Riley want to make sure our community feels supported throughout the year, and we’ll be working together to give you the best experience we can.
