Each year in February, students put themselves forward to run for a full-time, paid position as a Student Leader. They campaign for votes and every Essex student will have an equal chance to 'vote like a student' and choose who they want to be elected into each of the 6 roles. This is the SU Leadership Election.

CLAIRE CAMPION

As a sustainability representative I will aim to increase student awareness and participation. I will do this in student parliament and at events such as sustainability mixers. I believe I am a good fit for this role due to work I have done as part of the student sustainability team. I will also aim to increase commitment within the SU in areas such as environmental protection and social stability.
