What will I learn?

• How learners learn including:
  • Learning Styles
  • The Learning Cycle
• What learners need to be able to learn effectively
• How to structure a session to ensure your learners get the most out of it.
• How to write a session plan to help you prepare for the session.
• How to provide learners with effective feedback to help them improve

What will I do?

In this 1.5 hr session we will spend the first section looking at the key theories you need to know to run a good training session.

In the second section we will work on preparing a session together, putting into practice these theories, so you are confident to use them straight away when preparing your own sessions once you leave the session. You will be able to practice delivering a short session and will self-reflect on your own performance as well as recieve feedback to help you develop for future sessions.
