Sign up is NOW CLOSED, all are welcome to SHOW UP ON THE DAY TO PARTICIPATE, however you won't be guaranteed a t-shirt if not pre-booked. 

After the success of this event in previous years, the Students’ Union are organising another Colour Dash, but this year’s event will be bigger and better, with even more paint to shower participants in!! This event is open to all and we can't wait to welcome you back after the summer break!

Time: 12:00

Venue: Sports Pitches

Cost: FREE – you pay nothing to enter and participate - all you need is an Essex Blades Membership (FREE) which can be added to the order when you checkout.

Participants can walk, jog, run the 5K campus course (3 laps of the sports pitches). If 5K seems a bit daunting, you can choose to do 1, 2 or 3 laps therefore catering to all fitness levels.

The event is untimed – the idea is to get active and have fun with friends whilst being showered in lots of colourful powder as you pass through the colour station zones.

Don't want to get your clothes colourful? 

FREE 'Colour Dash' t-shirts and shades will be available at the registration desk (LOCATION OF THIS WILL BE CONFIRMED DURING WEEK 19/09/22) on the day for you to pick up and wear.

Please allow sufficient time to collect your t-shirt and shades before the warm-up which should start around 12:15.

WANT TO VOLUNTEER FOR COLOUR DASH?

If you want to be part of Colour Dash but don't fancy running round a course while you get pelted with paint, then why not sign up to volunteer? We need student volunteers to help us with registration, marshalling, and the hurling of lots of colourful paint!
