We’re really excited to be showing these games, and celebrating together as a diverse international community through our SU Football Fest.
Crucially, we're going to use this tournament as an opportunity to promote worker rights, LGBTQ+ rights and to raise money for Amnesty International and The Gender Affirmation Fund. You can donate on those links.
We've created inclusive spaces where you can watch the games. You can only book one venue per game – so make sure you read below the differences between each venue.
SU FANZONE: The home of SU Football Fest
Our huge heated marquee with long benches (think Oktoberfest beerhall vibes). Come watch the game with a big group of mates, on the biggest screen on campus – and the best bit, it’s FREE.
We’re bringing every team to Essex with flags from around the world hanging from the ceiling, celebrating our diverse international community at Essex. The bar will be stocked with drinks, and also serve some classic footie snacks for a half time nibble.
You can arrive 45mins before KO. Plenty of time to grab a drink and slide into a bench. You’ll have about 15mins from FT to finish your bevs before we ask you to leave whilst we reset for the next game.
SU members only in this venue. FREE entry, but with only 500 seats available, you’ll need to book quickly to secure your space.
SU BAR: The comfiest screening on campus
The only venue open every single day, right in the heart of campus. It’s FREE entry as always and you’re welcome to bring guests. Choose your favourite seating area and kick-back to watch the games. With your fave drinks and food offering, you'll be right at home at SU Bar.
To keep things comfy for everyone we’re limited to 500 people in here, so book a ticket to ensure entry.
