Your one-stop destination to discover all the exciting opportunities available to you whilst here at Essex!

Imagine one big market filled with 250+ stalls to browse and interact with. Stalls will be representing:

Sports Clubs
Societies
V Team
University Services
Local and national businesses

This is THE chance to find your sport, hobby, community and discover information on useful services. And of course, grab some awesome freebies!

The fair will take place across Squares 2, 3, 4, 5 & Silberrad plaza. There is no specific entry point or need to sign up, just turn up and explore.

We understand that Freshers Fair can be overwhelming for some students, especially those who are neurodiverse. That’s why we’re offering a Quiet Hour from 11 AM to 12 PM.

During this time:

No loud music or performances – just a calm, welcoming atmosphere.
It might still be a bit crowded, but there will be far less people around at the beginning.
Perfect for those who prefer a quieter, more relaxed experience.

We’re committed to making Freshers Fair accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

If you would like to have a stall at Freshers Fair:

University departments can request a stall HERE

All SU sports Clubs & Societies are automatically allocated a stall.

Any external companies can reach out to hello@sunetwork.co.uk to request a stall
