For our third week, we will turn towards the literary. What may psychoanalysis offer us in terms of criticism? First, there will be a short presentation on Freud's original attempt to think the specificity of the literary object. Secondly, we will then turn our attention towards a poem (the reading of which is not optional) and offer a practical example of how psychoanalysis may help us develop a richer appreciation of the text.
