Weekly Board Games

Come along and socialise with new people and play some board games!

We have a range of board games from pick up and play such as Connect 4 and Ker-Plunk to games with more complexity and strategy such as Lord's of Waterdeep.

These events work as a great destresser from the stresses of university and allows you to take some time away and clear your head in a fun atmosphere.

This event is non-alcoholic, so it allows for a different experience whilst at university and saves you a bit of cash.

If you enjoy our events please buy our membership as it helps us buy more boardgames for you all to play!

COVID-19 Policy from the University and the SU

If participants have any symptoms they will be advised not to travel to campus, immediately self-isolate, report their symptoms by emailing covid19@essex.ac.uk and contact NHS to get a PCR test.

Symptoms:

  • High temperature
  • New and/or continuous cough
  • Feeling short of breath
  • Sore throat
  • Loss of or change in normal sense of smell or taste
  • Feeling generally unwell
  • Persistent tiredness
