TAS Weekly Workshop

24/04/2024 - 24/04/2024

6:30pm - 9pm

CTC.2.01

Comedy Cabaret Improv!

  • The first three workshops of term (24.04, 01.05, 08.05) will be dedicated to playing improv games and exercises which will then be performed to a live audience as part of The Essex Live Comedy Cabaret on Saturday 11the May.

  • No prior experience or audition is needed to get involved, all you have to do is make sure to turn up to all three workshops (and the performance day, of course) with a willingness to improvise in front of an audience.

  • We'll choose and practice the games that we'll be performing as a group, so although we'll be improvising on the performance day we'll be confident with the structure and flow of the show.

  • I (James Little) will be running the workshops and acting as host during the final performance to get audience suggestions and to set up the games.

  • In order to go through all the games properly, the workshops will be half an hour longer than usual (6:30 - 9:00).

  • It will all be for charity, so the main expectation is simply to have fun whilst supporting your fellow improvisors!
