WHAT YOU'LL DO.
THE DAY TO DAY.
We need a vibrant and outgoing person with Retail Experience to oversee the shop floor during busy weekdays. You will need to interact with members and to support and lead student staff whilst ensuring the highest level of customer service is being delivered at all times. You will be required to have or to learn food hygiene regulations up to at least level 2 and to be confident in delivering the best hot food service possible.

Your Responsibilities
The things you'll be looking after
Reporting to the Retail Manager you will organise the running of the shopfloor, ensuring student staff are follwing the rules and procedures especially around the hot food service area. You will be food hygiene qualified and have a full understanding of the legal requirements within this field. you will control a team throughout the day ensuring all aspects of the shop floor are fully functioning and our member's needs are always met.
- Controlling and leading a student team
- Understanding and implementing laws realting to Alcohol and tobacco
- Ability to deal with difficult situations
- Communicating any problems to the Retail Manager
- Delivering excellent levels of customer service to members
- Carry out stock checks if required
- Identifying health and safety issues that arise when on shift
- Responsible for all shop floor till operations including change and shift swaps
- Responsible for hot food cooking and service area, ensuring we follow all legal guidelines
- Responsible for shop cleanliness and stock levels
- Deal with complaints in the correct manor ensuring all negatives become positives
- Engage with members
- Understand and help deliver first class NPS results
- Understand and help deliver department vital stats
