If you're successful you must attend a compulsory induction on Wednesday 23rd May and Fresher's training on 27th September

We're looking replace staff graduating this year, so this role would only be suitable if you're able to work the next academic year

The Facilities and Cloakroom Assistant is an essential role in the Venues team. They are responsible for ensuring the venues, Base and Sub Zero, are kept clean and hygiene levels are maintained throughout the night. They will also carry out cloakroom duties and ensure they are a champion of excellent customer service!

WHAT YOU'LL DO. 
THE DAY TO DAY.

The Facilities and Cloakroom Assistant will ensure that the personal effects of venue users are handled safely and securely when using the cloakroom facility, and will ensure that washroom facilities remain clean, tidy and operational throughout evenings when Students' Union events are held.

You will also assist in the venues with general cleaning as required.

Your Responsibilities

 

  • Conduct regular checks on the washrooms in Base and Sub-Zero
  • Clean and maintain the washrooms and ensure that standards of hygiene are maintained during opening hours
  • Ensure health and safety aspects are observed and maintained
  • Replenish consumables as and when required
  • Assist with the general cleaning of the venue as required
  • General cloakroom duties including the safe handling and security of customers belongings.
  • Be a champion of excellent customer service in your area
  • Till operation and cash handling
  • Any other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time
