Student Voice Groups are the place to share feedback with your department. Whether it’s good, bad or indifferent, your feedback is vital to ensure the University reacts to student voice.

Every term, every single department across the University hold a “Student Voice Group” or SVG for short. The purpose of these meetings is for your student reps to meet with the department to tell them what is going well and what needs to be improved at Essex. This could be directly related to your course (deadlines, support, reading lists for example) or issues related to the wider University (inclusion, cost of living, community). If it’s important to students then your reps will ensure your feedback is raised!.

Your reps and the SU Education Team will be out and about both on-line and in communal spaces throughout the term gathering "live" feedback. You can find out who your rep is by visiting www.essexstudent.com/education and can share views about your course at anytime.

To find out when your SVG is email sureps@essex.ac.uk

Want to have your say on your course? Interested in representation? Need something to make your C/V stand out?

If the answer to any of these random questions is yes, sign up to be a student rep with the SU Education Team.
