Support when you need it the most!
We realise during these incredibly uncertain times that you may be concerned about what to do if you have an issue during your online assessment. To help you get support where you need it, we have been speaking to the uni and we can share with you that there will be Live Chat available at the bottom right of all pages containing online assessment.
This will appear before you log in on all Moodle, Faser and alternative assessment pages. You can therefore use it to access help if for example you have problems getting on to the system in the first instance. Additionally, If you are experiencing other difficulties with anything related to alternative assessments from uploading coursework, completing exams or wider issues related to your studies you can access instant help through this system.
It will be staffed for 8 hours a day during University work hours by IT, Departments and the Wellbeing team to ensure you can get answers to issues in a few easy clicks. If you have a question outside of work hours you can still complete an on-line form where your query will be picked up the next working day.
The Live Chat gives you the option to identify your issue by clicking on the following options to ensure your query is answered by the most appropriate department.
Answers to many other questions relating to alternative assessment can be found here.
And don’t forget the SU Education Team will be here to support you throughout the entire exam season. Contact us through email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or through our Fast Feedback Form online here. You can also ask us your questions over Facebook and Instagram through our first Ask an Angel Q&A session on Wednesday, 29th April, more details to follow!
We’ve got your back,
Love Your SU Education Team
