We are almost at the Winter break with 1 week remaining and Essex remains in a solid position with our best ever position as things stand.  Essex were momentarily in 25^th place this week but currently occupy 26^th place in the UK with 1398 points.  We are hopefully the remaining 18 matches in the coming week will bring plenty of Festive cheer. Essex currently sits in 26^th place with additional points from Softball to be added (which would push us towards 25^th).

48 matches were played this week (21 home, 27 away), with Essex winning 20 and drawing 2. With 417 Essex students competing across different levels.

Stats for the term so far can be seen below:

• 377 matches (176 home/201 away)
• 166 wins, 18 draws and 193 losses
• 48.3% home win rate, 40.3% away
