Exec are the driving force behind our regular volunteering projects. They are volunteers themselves who get a bit more involved in the projects; shaping their direction, bringing creativity, and ensuring they run effectively and smoothly. All 12 of our Regular Projects are recruiting exec, which includes: 

• Project Leader
• Session Leader(s)
• Communications Officer 
• Social Media Officer

Whether you volunteered every week, or didn't quite get round to joining a session, we welcome applications from anyone who will be a registered student next academic year.

✅What is in it for me?

This is a fantastic chance to get leadership experience and develop other professional skills that will enhance your CV. It is also a rewarding way to make a difference supporting a cause you care about, use the skills you have, and work with a community of likeminded people! 

I am interested but not sure I could do it...

Don't let doubts hold you back! Plenty of our most wonderful exec in the past came to this with no experience. So long as you have an interest and passion in the project, you are someone we want to hear from! Anyone who is successful will receive full training from VTeam before/at the start of next academic year, plus a handover from the previous exec committee. VTeam supports the projects throughout the academic year, and are easily reachable any week day over WhatsApp, email and in person.

Guidance/top tips for applying!

• If you aren't sure of your plans for next year, apply anyway! We won't be upset if your plans change down the line, we would rather you just go for it so you don't miss out. 
• You can apply for as many projects as you would like!
• If you are already an exec and wish to keep the exec role you currently are doing, please still put this into the application. It will ask you if you already hold this role. 
• You can apply for as many roles as you would like, you don't have to commit to just one at this stage if you are on the fence or want to hedge your bets.
