Want to give something back to the world? You can help out a group of people from a disadvantaged background to improve their basic skills to be successful.
WHEN? Thursdays(14:30-17:30), Sundays(10:00-14:00)
Lend a Hand aims to provide volunteers with the opportunity to aid a session leader in teaching a group of disadvantaged people basic skills, however more importantly it aims to provide a social setting for the learners to build their confidence. Volunteers will aid in teaching skills, ranging from basic Math, English, IT, Arts and crafts and job skills.
Allow 30 minutes of travelling time to and fro the project. Expect to leave at 30 mins before the session starts and back on campus at 30 mins after the session ends.
