Do you hold on to random pieces of wrapping paper you can't bare to throw out? You're one of us, paper hoarder. But come lear a few fun ways to use it up so it doesn't just clutter up your desk and you can then share your appreciation for paper and Origami even more.
When? Mondays (14:00-15:00 and 15:00-16:00), Tuesdays (15:20-16:15), Wednesdays (15:00-16:00), Thursdays (15:10-16:10)
You don’t need to have any experience in Origami, as training will be provided by the project leader. During the sessions, we will start off with basic origami skills, then go on to a more advanced levels. Volunteers will also find out about the history of Origami as well as interesting facts and stories. We will teach children how to origami, as well as the culture around it. We will also have themed sessions depending on the upcoming holidays.
Allow 30 minutes of travelling time to and fro the project. Expect to leave at 30 mins before the session starts and back on campus at 30 mins after the session ends.
