Have you completed an undergraduate degree? Considered furthering your education with a Master’s? Not sure how to go about applying, or just too lazy to work it out and just want someone like me to spoon-feed you the answers?

Well, you’re in luck! This is guide is going to give you a breakdown on how to find a course, the requirements, and how to apply!

First thing’s first: do you know what you want to study your Master’s in? If you’re unsure, just click here, where you can have a browse of the subjects and courses that are on offer to you. Under each subject, there can be multiple courses, so be sure to scroll to the bottom and check them all.

Once you’ve found a course that has your attention, be sure to click on it and read through the 4 tabs labelled “Overview”, “Entry Requirements”, Structure”, and “Fees and Funding”. Here you’ll find information such as what you can expect from your course, your course’s campus location, it’s length, and the price to study the course.

(Fun fact: those who have graduated from a University of Essex Undergrad course, studied here abroad for 1 term as part of a Study Abroad Programme, or are a spouse/civil partner of a full time international student, you can get a discount on your Master’s. Click here for more info.)

Once you have a course you’d like to apply for, I’d strongly recommend you click this link, scroll down, and give the page a good read. Here you’ll be provided with further, important, information on what you need to know prior to applying.

Once you’ve done all of the above and you feel ready to apply, the next step is to, well, apply! You can click here to begin your application process (oooohhhh, how exciting!)
