Hi everyone and welcome to the University of Essex!

I’m Andrea, your Black Student Community Officer.

Starting university can be a new exciting experience, with a few challenges on the way. Hence why my role is to support you in feeling like a valued member of the Essex community!  My role is to allow you to not feel alone, even if you came here alone you have support available.
