Welcome to SU Eat & Meet - your free weekly hot meal meet-up! This comes as part of a package of support from your SU and the University to help with rising costs. Every Tuesday between 5-6pm and 6-7pm in The Atrium, we’re giving you the chance to come together and enjoy a FREE home cooked meal. This is a fantastic opportunity to have a night off from cooking or worrying about the cost of a takeaway and meet some new people in a heated space.
SU Eat & Meet is hosted by your Sabbatical Officers who will be on hand to answer any questions or concerns you have about the costing of living crisis uni life in general. They have been working hard alongside the University to support students with the Cost of Living Crisis, find out more about our initiatives here.
Our SU Bar Chef, Ben, has put together a menu of yummy recipes that are healthy and tasty with vegetarian and vegan options available on certain weeks…

7th Feb – tomato pasta (vegetarian)

To enable as many people to enjoy SU Eat & Meet as possible, we’re running two sessions every Tuesday. A session starting at 5pm and a session starting at 6pm. There will be 150 spaces each week across two sittings. You are required to book your free place due to high demand. Booking opens 10am on the day before and please only book a place if you definitely can attend. If you don’t show up, you’ve taken a free meal away from another student.
Choose what SU Eat & Meet events you’d like to go to and what session, then book your free place via the What’s On page.
We’d love to see you at SU Eat & Meet so we can enjoy free hot meals together!
