Who We Are
Colchester Campus' Award-Winning Music Society is one of the largest societies on campus, with 130+ annual members and a thriving community. We have a rich history, putting on concerts and shows for the students of Essex to allow our members to have their first chance at performing infront of live audiences no matter your skill level or genre. We celebrate diversity through music, and welcome all to come and join us this year!

Our Events
As per our society constitution, we aim to host multiple events throughout the year on a monthly basis. This includes:

- Society Live Performance Events to show off your talent.
- Band Mixers to meet like-minded musicians, or people to learn with.
- Society Hangouts and Socials just to meet new people and talk about music.

No matter whether you are an experienced musician or appreciate music for what it is, everyone is welcome to our events to help contribute to our community!

What We Offer Our Members
The Music Society has many benefits for our paying members, including:

- Access to perform at Society Events.
- Access to our bookable Music Studio on campus, with musical instruments and equipment to give you and other musicians a personal practice space on campus.
- Access to exclusive student discounts at nearby Music Shops, including Colchester's own Tiny Music Store.
- Have your personal work and gigs advertised on our group chats and society Instagram.
- Support in finding performance opportunities outside of campus.

Becoming a member costs £14.99 per academic year, which expires on 31st of July.
