Language & Linguistics

This society is for anyone and everyone just like language in our everyday lives. Language and Linguistics thrives on culture and diversity and so we want all of you to come and join us. Do you speak a second language? Have you lived in another country? Are you born and bread British? One of our main aims this year is to create a social network, to meet new people and help improve what you personally get out of your degree. We're all students and we know this is as much social as academic. 

 

It's time to shake things up a bit and go all out. This year our society will be starting the first ever 'Create a Blog' workshop, which will cover the written, video and photo form, we will be holding social events, Around the World tasters and fundraisers galore for our chosen charity that you can help us choose. All this on top of the revision sessions which we humbably adore at the end of the year for Languages and Linguistic subjects. Are you ready for something different?
