The Psychoanalytic Society is open for anyone and everyone interested in psychoanalysis (Freudian, Jungian, Object Relations, Lacanian, etc.), psychology and other clinical sciences. In our events, we seek to explore how such notions as the unconscious can aid our understanding of clinical, political, and psychosocial phenomena. We are also interested in interdisciplinary dialogues between psychoanalysis and film, literature, and digitalism. Some of our events include: open forums (free format presentations by students and lecturers), case study reading groups (a panel of experts debating a single case study), student debates, and socials. Some examples from our past events: (A)Sexuality, Romance and Intimacy; The Role of Social Media in Psychotherapy; Boris, Buses and Behaviourism; The Psychology of Video Games.
