Who are we?
The Psychoanalytic Society is open for anyone and everyone interested in Psychoanalysis (Freudian, Jungian, Object Relations, Lacanian, etc.), Philosophy, Psychology and other Clinical Sciences. In our events, we seek to explore how such notions as the unconscious can aid our understanding of clinical, political, and psychosocial phenomena. We are also interested in interdisciplinary dialogues between psychoanalysis and film, literature, and digitalism. Some of our events include: Open Forums (free format presentations by students and lecturers), Reading Groups, Welfare and Art Psychotherapy workshops and socials. Some examples from our past events: You're addicted to Tinder, Lacan and Antigone, What Hegel?, It's more than a feeling, Bojack Horseman and his Mummy issues.
Whether you are an expert in the field of Psychoanalysis wanting to find likeminded people, or just want to learn something new, all are welcome in the Psychoanalysis Society!
