(*A £35 membership fee is required to become a part of the Essex Blades Netball Club if you are in a competetive team. This is a one-off payment and will cover weekly training sessions, professional coaching, netball dresses, equipment & transport costs. With this you also get your own Essex Blades Netball t-shirt. Netball is one of the few Essex Blades clubs that take part in a local league competition on Mondays as well as playing in BUCS on a Wednesday, meaning it costs a lot more to run than other sports clubs and requires some student funding.

Joining Essex Blades Netball Club is a decision you will never regret! Netball at Essex is one of the BIGGEST and definitely the most social female club on campus and this year we want to make it bigger and better than before!
No matter your ability, everyone is welcome and there is a guaranteed team out there for you. With four competitive teams which represent the University and an equally competitive Interhouse League there is a place for EVERYONE!
So come along, have a laugh with your friends and create some wonderful memories that will last a lifetime!

Socials
The club has socials almost every Wednesday before FED with different themes each week. Previous themes have included: Teletubbies, Grannies, Evil Minions, Princess’ and their Peas, Brownies, Chavs, 80s Aerobic, Australian... the list goes on!! The turnout at socials is always amazing and EVERYONE is welcome! The more the merrier so bring your friends along too!
